Hello! This week has been pretty stressful. Finals are taking over my life. Hopefully I will be able to manage my time properly and come find time to get everything done. Countdown begins! 9 days until I am done! Graduation is not technically until May 20th, but I consider my end day the day I finish all of my coursework/finals. Goodbye educational career, hello real world! I am excited for this new phase in my life.

UPDATE!!! I got the job! I am so excited to finally secure a job before graduation! Now I have 16 days until I can finally relax and enjoy my accomplishments! The interview was so stressful, but it made me realize how badly I want this job. Now it is time to start apartment hunting! Since I currently live with my parents in Brooklyn and my new job will be in Long Island, I am looking to move closer to that area. I think I am ready for this next step of my life! I am also extremely excited to go shopping for furniture! Having a house warming party has always been my dream. This has been a great week!!

So this is a pretty big week for me! I have a final interview with a company that I would love to work for. If i get this job, I would have to move but I feel like I am ready for the next step. I also would not be moving that far regardless.. but I am so nervous for this interview. I think I am more nervous about the wait than the actual interview. Another big thing is that my sister in law is 20 weeks pregnant this week! It's starting to get real, I need to start planning the baby shower. We already started her registry and there are so many things to get! And finally, I have one month left until I graduate college! It is so surreal that I have been in school for 18 years of my life. I am ready for the next step though =)!

This week has been extremely busy! Between balancing a 27 hour work week and 7 classes, I think I have taken on a lot of work! Nonetheless, I am pushing through and can see the finish line. Graduation is right around the corner. I am excited to come out from my comfort blanket of school and finally enter the real world. Time to become independent and start my life. School has played a major role in my life for a very long time so I am looking forward to what's in store next!

I am going to be an aunt!
This New Years, I received the best present I could have asked for. Here's some background information first. For New Years, I thought it would be funny for everyone to being wearing a onesie pajama, so my mother and I bought them for all of the adults. Needless to say, it was the funniest thing to see everyone come out looking like Teletubbies. The next day we decided to go snow tubing and on the way home my brother and sister in law said they wanted to stop by a store and would be home soon. After being gone for hours, they finally arrived back home. My older brother and sister in law came home with presents in hand for my mother, father, and I. They told us that because we made them wear the onesie pajamas, they would make us wear these gifts for the rest of our lives. I assumed it was jewelery. My mom was quick to open the bag and pull out what was a t-shirt. She put the t-shirt up to her and it read "Im a new grandma!" I instantly teared up. We were so excited for them!
As the weeks went on, my sister-in-law and I finally got to go to her first sonogram appointment. The fetus was only the size of a blueberry so we could not really attach ourselves to it. On the next appointment, 3 weeks later, we saw a head, arms, and legs! We even got to hear the heart beat. As soon as I heard the heart beat, I was attached. At 12 weeks, we had a gender reveal party. I have already started spoiling this child with all of the decorations I purchased. IT'S A GIRL! I cannot wait to meet my niece! I am so excited to be an aunt!!
